Most keeping apps tell you when to feed. Beginners mostly wonder how much: too little and the colony stalls, too much and leftovers go moldy. Formicarium Log answers that for each species, based on worker count, brood and temperature.
We start from a base ration per worker and adjust it for brood (protein mostly feeds the larvae), temperature, appetite and colony size. The results are average guidelines based on common keeper practice, not scientific measurements: your colony is always the best source of information.
